Who: Kim Winser, founder and CEO of WInser London. Kim’s high-flying career has included time spent in senior management at Marks & Spencer, Pringle of Scotland and Aquascutum. She was awarded an OBE in 2006 for services to the fashion industry and launched Winser London, in 2013. The brand’s clothes are modern classics in beautiful fabrics, loved by women for their dependable style and easy wearability. 

Today I’m wearing Chanel No 5. I always wear it, it reminds me of my mother. My father used to buy it for my mum, which was always rather amusing because as a teenage girl I used to open one of her dressing table drawers and it would be full of the next three unopened bottles that she’d need…she couldn’t use it as fast as my father was buying it for her. The smell just reminds me of her and I love it.

I feel dressed when I wear my perfume. It’s the last thing I do before leaving the house, I spray my wrists and behind my ears, it’s the final touch. Occasionally I get gifted other perfumes and I do try them, but I always revert back to Chanel No 5.
